Daniel in the lions' den

Daniel 6:22

“My God has sent his angel, and has shut the lions' mouths, and they have not hurt me, because innocence was found in me before him; and also before you, O king, I have done no harm."”

Daniel prayed to God three times a day by his window. Some jealous men tricked the king into making a law: anyone who prayed to any god except the king would be thrown into the lions' den! Daniel knew about the law, but he kept praying to the true God. So he was thrown into the den. The king couldn't sleep all night, he was so worried. Early in the morning he ran to the den and called: Daniel! And Daniel answered: my God sent His angel and shut the lions' mouths!
